Update on Visa-Free Visit to Batam for Permanent Residents of Singapore

Dear Valued Passengers,

The following categories of travelers are eligible to visit Batam visa-free through these terminals:

 

  • Batam Center Ferry Terminal
  • Sekupang Ferry Terminal
  • Nongsapura Ferry Terminal

 

Criteria*:

 

  • Individuals who have the status of a permanent resident of Singapore, identifiable by a blue Singapore National Registration Identity Card (NRIC). Holders are required to bring the physical card upon visit.
  • Spouses and children who are Long-Term Visit Pass holders (LTVP) traveling with the Singapore PR holder.
  • Valid Singapore Student Pass holders

 

Travelers who meet these criteria will receive a 4-day visit permit, which is not eligible for any extension or change of status.
